When the ABC swerves left off in May, bride Kate Beckett’s walk down the aisle was detoured by an urgent phone call, alerting her to the fact that husband-to-be Rick Castle’s car had been found on a roadside, engulfed in flames. Season 6 closed with Kate racing to the scene, in her wedding dress, to witness firsthand the wreck.
