Castle star Nathan Fillion has admitted that he is not worried by the show’s lack of Emmy recognition.

He told Entertainment Weekly that he is happy with the program’s current level of success.

“When you are so blessed, it becomes difficult to wish and want for more,” he insisted.

Fillion previously starred in sci-fi drama Firefly and later played Alex Tully in Drive. Both shows were axed by Fox prior to the conclusion of the first season.

“I’m on season three of a television program that people are actually watching,” explained the actor. “That’s a first for me. So it’s hard for me to say [that I want] more than this.”
